Camera Purge

The ones I'm keeping and some I'm selling.

In that time between Christmas and New Years, I made an ungodly amount of notes. My desk was flooded with random word vomit on any page I could find. Ideas, inventory of items, things to sell, things to prioritize etc.

I was in my office and finally had a moment to really take inventory of all of my photography gear that I use. I just wanted to see it all written out on one page to better understand what I use and don’t.

This year I’m really trying to simplify as I do every year. Lessen my decision fatigue in any way shape or form that I can. Every camera does a certain job and thats why I have them. But some of these jobs are being doubled up and there is just no need for multiples or unused stuff that someone else could be enjoying.

I thought this could be a fun Substack as I know many of you are photographers in your own right. So, here is a breakdown of the cameras I’m using most, the ones I’m keeping and some I’m selling and why.
